چکیده
روسیه کشوری با پیوندهای دیرینه در قاره آفریقا است به طوریکه نقش آن در قاره سیاه را میتوان با توجه به ملاحظات ژئوپلیتیک و ژئواکونومیک این کشور و توجه به ایده «شکوه و عظمت» روسیه که برگرفته از امپراطوری تزاری میباشد، تحلیل کرد. با توجه به عدم تمایل آمریکا به مداخله مستقیم در امور آفریقا در سالهای اخیر، مسکو درصدد است تا به ایده شکوه و عظمت تزاریها تحقق بخشیده و ایفاگر نقش یک قدرت بزرگ در صحنه آفریقا باشد. این مقاله درصدد پاسخگویی به این سوال است که روسیه در قاره آفریقا به دنبال چه اهدافی و منافعی بوده است و آیا مسکو در رسیدن به منافع مورد نظر خود طی سالهای اخیر در کشورهای آفریقایی موفق بوده است؟ فرضیه نگارندگان عبارت است از اینکه روسیه در پی ارتقای نقش خود به عنوان یک قدرت بزرگ در قاره آفریقا میباشد؛ اما موفقیت این نقش عمدتا محدود به تلاش برای کمک به موازنهگری، تامین سلاح کشورهای آفریقایی و حل منازعات، کمکهای آموزشی محدود و تامین منافع گوناگون خود از جمله منافع سیاسی بوده است. این پژوهش جنبه توصیفی – تحلیلی داشته و گردآوری دادهها برای انجام آن به روش کتابخانهای صورت گرفته است.
