Abstract

With the increase in the activities of the Takfiri terrorist group Daesh in West Asia, several terrorist groups also began to make large-scale movements in Afghanistan due to the powerful economy of drug trafficking. This problem is considered a serious security threat not only for Afghanistan but also for Central Asia and even Iran. ISIS Khorasan, as one of these groups, has carried out most of its terrorist activities in Afghanistan and neighboring countries with the aim of creating a fundamentalist extremist group and comprehensively developing its operations. This research was carried out in a descriptive-analytical way and using the theory of security ecology, with the aim of investigating the impact of the activities of ISIS in Khorasan in Afghanistan on the spread of the crisis of narco-terrorism and drug trafficking in this country and the region, and the necessary information was obtained from books, articles and internet sources. has collected Based on this, the main question is how has drug trafficking affected the expansion of ISIS activities in Khorasan in Afghanistan? The findings of the research show that security problems such as the spread of terrorist activities, elimination of opponents, kidnappings and numerous bombings in this country and its neighbors, economic problems such as the creation of a black economy, the social problem of allegiance with other extremist groups, the political problem of not establishing a politically stable government in Kabul is considered one of the most important effects of ISIS Khorasan narco-terrorism in Afghanistan.
