Abstract

Corridors represent a wide range of investment in various logistics, communication, tourism, energy, etc. projects that have extended political, military and cultural power. With this connection, countries can provide themselves with the conditions to increase their power by creating and connecting with corridors, and Iran, having an important geographical position in the international system, is no exception to this rule. The main goal of the research will be focused on the most important corridors in the peripheral regions of Iran, centered on Pekan, New Delhi, Ankara, Washington and Tehran, which on the one hand will define their role as examples in the international system and on the other hand, the effects of these corridors on Iran's power is evaluated. The main question of the current research is "What is the role of the most important corridors in the strategic environment of the Iranian Republic and their impact on Iran's national power?" Research findings through the "three-domain/three-level" theoretical framework of Dr. Mohiuddin Mesbahi and descriptive-analytical method relying on library and internet resources confirms the extensive impact based on geoeconomic instrument like powerful currency, investment power with geopolitical and geocultural consequences in the different levels of international system. Connecting Iran's geography with the New Silk Road, the Cotton Road, the North-South Corridor, as well as making the axis resistance corridor multi-purpose, will add to the country's economic, political, military and cultural power inside, as well as the development of the power along aside these corridors abroad and it will also decrease the importance of the axis of Ankara and Washington (Trans-Caspian , middle corridor and Arab-Med transport route).
