Abstract

The concept of desirable governance has been considered by scientific and academic circles as well as governments in the last two decades to attract people's satisfaction and achieve their desired development, but the reality is that the realization of this issue requires several requirements and requirements, one of the most important of which is the need for Communicative Political Rationality combined with reality and consistent with conscious thought and practice. Accordingly, the present study seeks to evaluate the relationship of desirable governance with rational-based indicators in various dimensions so that, based on it, strategies for a government to achieve desirable governance can be outlined. The main question of the present study is: "What are the requirements of Communicative Political Rationality in Desirable Governance?" The main assumption of this article is that today, by criticizing Max Weber's instrumental political rationality, it may be possible to introduce clearer indicators for achieving desirable governance by utilizing the philosophical and social thought of Jürgen Habermas, especially the theory of communicative political rationality, taking into account environmental considerations and belief in the values that govern society, and in the light of understanding. This article examines political rationalities and related behavioral actions using a descriptive-analytical method and attempts to enumerate the effective and efficient indicators in achieving desirable governance within the framework of communicative political rationality.
